MAWS

I headed up to Montana last weekend with friend Cheryl and daughter Hayle for the MAWS Queen of HeArts weaver's conference. We drove up to Helena MT and what a beautiful drive. Cheryl participated in the conference and Hayle and I 'manned' the booth. Weaving, as an art, was truly taken to the next level with Sarah Pilgrim's exhibit at the Holter Museum of Art. Her medium is silk which is a favorite of mine. Exquisite work, that's all I can say. Anyway, I got so excited that I brought home some Glimakra Freja tapestry looms. I'm still in the warping process and am having some issues but I really enjoy tapestry weaving and look forward to creating my own piece.
